The Zurich Ensemble
The remarkable Zurich Ensemble was founded in 2012 by four internationally known Swiss soloists. The unusual mix of instruments – clarinet, violin, cello and piano - mirrors that of the renowned «Quatuor pour la fin du temps» by Messiaen and allows for a broad spectrum of sounds and musical styles. The group's repertoire ranges from the classics to contemporary music, featuring trios for piano and strings, piano, strings and clarinet, duos in various combinations as well as compositions for all four instruments. This new ensemble thus offers the listener a varied and fascinating concert experience.

This Ensemble changed its formation after my career-change: Fabio di Càsola, Benjamin Engeli, Thomas Grossenbacher und Andreas Janke bilden das Ensemble Kandinsky www.ensemblekandinsky.com
